Well just my Mort Drake [link] that I thought would be cool to color on GIMP.
I think it turned out reasonably well! Pleaz comment pplz! The Mort Drake is a very bizarre species of drake both in terms of it's grotesque appearance and habits. They look and behave nothing like actual drakes and wyverns and more like ravenous undead beings and demons. The Mort drake is an extremely voracious predator and scavenger, a chief predator of undead creatures, demons, and even spirits. They seem to move completely unnoticed through the forest despite their enormous size "Up to 40' ft long and that's excluding the tail.", they often sneak up on larger prey items that are almost four times their own size and strike with such insane veracity with their dementedly sharp and unholy claws and tusks that they reduce their prey to diced clumps of meat. They even produce a screech so high pitched that it rivals a banshee and has the ability to cause the heads or their entire body of smaller creatures to practically explode upon hearing the screeching roar. The Mort drake is also a scavenger usually seen prowling around for a carcass to feast upon, though it will just as readily chase down it's own prey "One Mort drake can devourer an entire swarm of zombies", they are often domesticated by the Wendigo and used to decimate populations of zombies, demons and spirits that have become a hassle. Mort drakes take pleasure in tearing their prey to pieces with their flesh tearing claws and tear them to pieces like paper and crush their bones with their immensely powerful jaws like eggshells. They also posses long whip-like tentacles with hooks that flail out the back of the creature and often are used to capture more agile prey items by snaring them with the sharp hooks on the end. The tail is also a very lethal weapon with the three sharp spikes at the end. Mort drakes also posses the ability to use magic "Necromancy specifically". They can raise undead abominations from corpses "It can consume these summoned creatures to gain a boost of energy or even cause them to explode making them into poisonous kamikazes" and often inflicts powerful curses upon their foes and prey to weaken them or just inflict massive amounts of pain upon them. They can even absorb the life force of other creatures and transfer it to themselves as many have quoted upon sighting the beast "It will devourer your very soul!". They will even vomit hordes of flesh eating maggots that they purposely nurse inside their stomachs for such occasions. For these reasons Mort drakes are best left alone and avoided by even the most experienced hunters and warriors, many paladins and witch hunters have fallen to a grave death mistaking the creatures for demons or undead abominations rather than actual dragons. |

"Its hell and high water
Believe in gods, hooves, horns and thunder
Days of wrath don't go seeking shelter
Poison creeps, serpents slither, then slumber
Bastards, paradise, true the bargain was made" devildriver
I just came up with the background as I drew him, the wendigo are a race concept I had for a while, but I never drew it yet on paper. I will be more to come.
